GREEN SUMMER VOLUNTEER CAMPAIGN 2025 – “TOGETHER WITH YOUTH FOR HEALTH AND HAPPINESS”
EXPERIENCE PROGRAM: ONE DAY AS A “YOUNG SOLDIER” – 3rd EDITION
In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), on the morning of August 17, at the Ho Chi Minh City Command Headquarters, the Faculty of Oriental Studies joined hands with the Youth Union of the Advisory Department, the Youth Union of Tan Son Nhat Ward, Tan Binh District to organize the program “Young Soldier Experience.”

The activity offered Youth Union members practical experiences, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the spirit of discipline, training, and responsibility embodied by soldiers.
Team names were inspired by the noble qualities of revolutionary soldiers: Faithful, United, Disciplined, Courageous, and Humble. The teams took part in a series of engaging challenges across different stations, including:
-
Station 1: Neat & Orderly Quarters
-
Station 2: Youthful Moments
-
Station 3: United in Action
-
Station 4: Sounds of the Soldier
Closing the program, “Young Soldier Experience” left each participant with unforgettable memories, reinforcing the values of discipline, teamwork, and patriotism. It was also a meaningful occasion for young people to nurture pride, motivation, and determination to live beautifully, contribute to society, and continue spreading the spirit of volunteerism.
