The educational visit to the War Remnants Museum
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 29, the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized a visit to the War Remnants Museum for students to gain a deeper understanding of the overall picture of the Vietnam War.

This activity allowed students to gain a more profound understanding of the losses and pain endured by our ancestors, as well as the pride they left behind in building the nation. At the museum, students were overwhelmed by powerful and breath-taking images depicting what our people had gone through. History felt closer than ever through the artifacts that vividly recreated the past. They also had the opportunity to listen directly to war veterans sharing firsthand accounts of historic milestones and fierce battles fought to achieve the independence and peace we enjoy today.

The trip was not only a journey into the past but also a reminder for today's young generation to cherish the achievements of previous generations, to nurture patriotism and national pride, and to raise their sense of responsibility in preserving peace and contributing to the country's development.
